"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013."
harper: wakes with the sweetest rosy cheeks.
it has been ever so cold here this week, so we have been staying warm inside under piles of blankets taking our days slowly. we have had another round of sniffles and coughs, making my desire to nest even greater. i am soaking up every moment that i have with just harper as i know our days with just the three of us are limited. it is a bittersweet time.
Very sweet picture!

ReplyDeleteWe recently had our second child so I know all to well the bittersweet feeling of those last few weeks of "just the three of us".
Found you via Che & Fidel.

DeleteYour blog name is certainly a stand out, Marci. It just conjures up such a wonderful life!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous introduction to your daughter and your photography. Such softness in this portrait.

oh thank you, maxabella! what kind words.
DeleteOh how I remember those last precious days of just me and my big girl and how I would worry about the way our relationship would change once bub #2 came along... but things change for the better. Seeing your big girl become a big sister will bring you such joy, just wait and see. Check out the link below for a poem I posted on my blog about mothers expecting their second babies... I found it so heartwarming when I myself was in your position...
